We cut off over 8 inches from this lush full head of hair.
Then we lifted peek-a-boo bangs, side slices, and vertical sections and colored them a deep red violet.
I am so pleased with this huge change. I hope you are feeling uplifted and rocking your new cut!!

This is Mahealani.
Desire for cut: To have long hair that did not rest on her back.
Issue: Hair causes skin blemishes

Texture: Some area have lots of out of control curls some areas are flat
Growth Pattern: Hair in back grows straight down ~
lacking volume in back ~thus too much volume on sides

Perk: With Mahealani's beautiful hair and the amount of length she desires to change in the back, she is planning on donating her hair to locks of love.

Goal: To create an individual hair style that is easy to manage, wash and wear and still have a fair of urban sass! Must be able to be worn to the office, but as a fellow Seattle-lite must be able to be tucked under a hat and hoot and still have fair at the end of the day.

Working with the different textures of hair, we created a fun and mutli-textured inverted bob.
The back was cut to add volume and flair the hair showing its ability to curl, while incorporating the the sides and areas of concern to even out a full and finished silhouette.

The front has kept most of its original length. The facial framing brings symmetry to Mahealani's face, while bring forth her luscious chocolate eyes. These both allows her to keep the security of her hair, and the familiarity of her appearance while giving her a whole new style and removing the hair from her neck and shoulders; which was our original goal.

Yeah!! Happy and Hip Seattle-lite!

I am not sure if there can be a salon advertisement on LJ. I am sure that I will be told soon enough. But I am sure that this page will help me spread the word, as well as keep track of daily progress.
I am looking into Trade Marks.

I am hoping to get the word out that I am starting a new salon in Greenlake before the opening in 2008! The salon will have a causal feel; where you can have a glass of wine or a Bloody Mary, take your shoes off, and have your hairz fussed over on YOUR time line. Late evening and midnight appointments will be welcomed.
